Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about signing in, connecting your calendar and setting up meeting links.
Getting started
How do I create an account?
Go to the sign up page and enter your name, email and a password. You can also sign up in one click with Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn. Either way, check your email afterward and click the link to verify your address.
How do I sign in?
Use the email and password you signed up with, or the "Continue with Google", "Continue with Microsoft" or "Continue with LinkedIn" button on the sign in page.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Click "Forgot your password?" on the sign in page and enter your email. If an account uses that email, you will get a link to set a new password. The link works for one hour, then you will need to request a new one.
Why do I see a box asking me to prove I am not a robot?
That is a small check called reCAPTCHA. It runs when you sign in, sign up or ask for a password reset link, and it just helps keep automated bots from spamming those forms.
Calendars
How do I connect my Google Calendar?
Go to Integrations and click Connect next to Google Calendar. You will be asked to sign in to Google and allow access. Once connected, we check that calendar for busy times and add confirmed bookings to it.
How do I connect my Microsoft or Outlook calendar?
Go to Integrations and click Connect next to Microsoft Calendar. Sign in with your Microsoft account and allow access. We use it the same way as Google Calendar, to check for conflicts and add confirmed bookings.
I got an error while connecting Microsoft Calendar. What happened?
This usually means the Microsoft app behind the connection was not set up correctly, or the account is not allowed to sign in yet. This is not something you can fix from your own settings, so contact us and we will check the setup on our side.
Can I connect both Google and Microsoft calendars?
Yes. You can connect both at the same time. We check both for busy times and add confirmed bookings to each one that is connected.
Can I disconnect a calendar?
Yes. Go to Integrations and click Disconnect next to the calendar you want to remove. We stop checking it and stop adding new bookings to it. Events already added stay in your calendar unless you remove them yourself.
Meeting links
How do meeting links work?
When you set up an event type, you choose where the meeting happens. That can be Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, a phone call, in person, or a link you paste in yourself. For Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom, we create the link for you automatically each time someone books.
Does every booking get its own Google Meet link?
Yes. Each booking gets a brand new Google Meet link, links are never reused between bookings. If someone reschedules, they keep their existing link so the meeting room does not change on them.
Why does my Microsoft Teams meeting have no link?
Teams meeting links only work with a Microsoft 365 work or school account that has Teams turned on. A personal Microsoft account, even one using your own domain for its email, cannot create Teams links. If this happens to you, reconnect Microsoft Calendar with a work or school account instead.
How do I connect Zoom?
Go to Integrations and click Connect next to Zoom. Sign in to your Zoom account and allow access. After that, any event type set to Zoom gets its own meeting link automatically.
What is a "default meeting platform"?
It is the platform that gets picked automatically whenever you create a new event type, so you do not have to choose it every time. You can set it on the Integrations page, but only for a platform you have already connected. You can still change it on any single event type.
Can I use my own meeting link instead?
Yes. Choose "Other" as the location on an event type and paste in any link you like, from any tool. Nothing gets created for you in that case, so make sure the link works before you save it.
Privacy and security
Is my password safe?
Yes. We never store your password as plain text. It is scrambled with a one way method before it is saved, so nobody, including us, can read it back.
What do you do with my calendar information?
We only use it to check for busy times and to add or remove events for bookings made through your page. The keys we use to access a connected calendar are encrypted before they are stored.
Can I remove my data?
Yes. You can disconnect any calendar or meeting tool at any time from Integrations. If you want your whole account and its data removed, contact us and we will take care of it.
